Horror Movie Remakes I Want!

(Above: Would you put Paul Giamatti in "Gargoyles" remake? I would!)

We know it's true. They're going to keep remaking all the horror movies, but the ones that don't need it, like "Fright Night" and "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark." They will do horrible remakes like "The Haunting" and "Amityville Horror." But, will the moviemakers ever get what we really want?

Here's some remakes and casting I'd like to see and would go out of my way to watch:

This 1980 classic (above) "The Changeling" was
amazingly chilling. The scene with the EVP session being replayed afterwards to hear the voice of the child was one of the scariest scenes I ever saw in a horror movie. The hidden room. The body in the well. Wow! Let's remake it. I'd cast either Adrian Brody or Hugh Jackman to play John Russell (George C. Scott) role.

This 1980 classic (above) "Watcher in the Woods" I would actually like to be done the folks who did "The Covenant." Something a bit more hip and sexy and dark and atmospheric.

This 1972 made-for-tv movie (above) "Gargoyles" was wicked awesome! I'd love to see someone do it with slightly better costumes. In the role of Cornelius Wilde, I'd put Paul Giamatti.

Now, a few horror movies I'd like to see sexed up and made into NC-17:
"Legend of Hell House" (1972)

"Mortuary" (1982)

Okay, what's on your list?
