Y'all know I was very excited about "Finding Bigfoot" on Animal Planet (Sunday nights). I swear, I'm gonna quiz y'all on the next episode, so you better watch it. Expect a review on Monday. They're doing the Florida skunk ape this Sunday night.
I recorded the premiere episode. It was on at 11 pm, so I kind of nodded off while recording it and rewatched it. When I rewatched it again (okay, the third time-I can't get enough of looking for BF), I looked at it as an investigator myself. Who would I want on my team? Who impresses the hell out of me? I was absolutely floored by Cliff Barackman. He was not only very well spoken and intelligent, but logical and he had an edge to him that I recognized. This man has encountered BF and never been the same, seeking answers. I know that because I am the same in the paranormal world. We recognize it in each other.
I see this guy as being part of the new generation of leaders now that some of the old heroes of the 60s
and 70s are leaving us. I have few in the industry I trust. You have your moneymakers like Biscardi who is more like a carnival barker, and you have your yahoo gun-toting camo wearing dudes, and weekend guys who want to camp and drink and kick BF ass. Then, there's the very few I truly trust the opinion of and Cliff has earned a spot on that anointed lists of trustworthy types.
He's been working in BF research a long time and his conviction gives me goosebumps and perhaps a few heart palpitations. Oh, come on, I'm Autumnforest---do you expect me not to have a bit of a crush? I might not be Elvira, but I think I'd give Cliff two thumbs up or, in my own fashion, a double something...

(Cliff, honey, I'm saying in my own Autumnforest way that you stimulate my brains. That's what gets me all excited. In the world of BF, I'm stalking, ahem, following you. Consider yourself in good company, my other victims, ahem, interests are Tesla and Einstein).
